Offered here is a Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall single-shot rifle chambered in .22 Short, dating to roughly 1906. The photos show the exact firearm you'll receive.
 
The 1885 is John Browning's first design sold to Winchester—the falling-block single shot that launched one of the greatest partnerships in firearms history. This is a Low Wall in the light .22 sporting configuration, wearing a mid-barrel target aperture sight and a slim round barrel. Over a century old and still striking. The buttstock is drilled for a tang sight (not included).
 
The metal shows vivid bluing and bright case colors, with attractive walnut. A handsome turn-of-the-century Winchester single shot and a genuine collector's falling block.
 
We have visually inspected and function checked this rifle, but it has not been test fired.
