Up for sale is a Smith & Wesson 638-3 Airweight revolver, chambered in .38 SPL with a 5-round capacity and a 2" barrel. The exact firearm for sale is shown in the photos. The 638-3 combines the convenience of a lightweight aluminum frame with the added versatility of a shrouded hammer, offering both double- and single-action operation—a feature that makes it a favorite for concealed carry and personal defense.

This revolver is in good condition, showing moderate signs of carry and use, but remaining mechanically solid. The finish is intact with some honest wear, as shown in the photos, and the grips are secure and comfortable in the hand. The action functions smoothly, and the locking and timing are reliable—hallmarks of Smith & Wesson quality.

Like all firearms we sell, this 638-3 has been function tested and inspected, but not test fired. If you have any questions about this Smith & Wesson 638-3, please reach out to Bay State Surplus—we’re always happy to assist!
