Offered here is a classic Belgian Flobert Rifle chambered in .22 CB. This single-shot rifle is a true survivor, likely dating back over 120 years, and stands as a wonderful example of early European craftsmanship. While the original finish shows honest wear, as detailed in the photos, the rifle remains rust-free and all functional components operate smoothly. The only visible markings on the rifle are the distinctive Belgian proof, adding to its authenticity and historical appeal.

This is a fantastic piece for collectors of antique firearms and enthusiasts alike.  Strangely enough, these rifles were made purely for fun and were often shooting targets inside of peoples living rooms for entertainment.  Whether as a centerpiece in your collection or as an example of shootable Old World quality, this Flobert rifle still has plenty of life left to give.

Photos shown are of the exact firearm being offered. As always, we have inspected and function tested this rifle, but we have not live-fired it. If you have any questions about this unique piece of history, feel free to contact Bay State Surplus—we’re happy to help!
